Jim Raab was the founder and leader of OakTree Consulting nearly 10 years. Under Jim's guidance, OakTree grew into one of the most respected consulting firms in the industry. Leveraging his 20 years of experience in mobile computing, wireless networking and information technologies, Jim successfully developed a team of consultants that deliver significant value to clients through their collective depth and breadth of skills.
Jim was an influential and respected advisor to OakTree Consulting's clients and the industry as a whole. His vision, enthusiasm, and commitment to client success enabled OakTree to become a trusted business partner to companies around the world. In addition, Jim's innovative thinking and foresight led to the creation of several key industry initiatives, including the Wi-Fi Alliance's Smart Grid and Power Conservation Task Groups.
We were saddened by Jim's unexpected passing In November of 2011. In keeping with the foundation that Jim had laid in place, OakTree continues to work to support it's original mission: to help clients achieve competitive advantage and sustainable growth through intelligence-driven innovation.
